Summer 5

In a southwesterly of 7-8 knots, 15 boats set off from Tung O Wan on a rounding of Lamma Island on Sunday, the 27^th of July. Progress was slow to begin with but, once into open water and with the wind from behind, the boats began to pick up speed.

Race officer, Alex Johnston, decided to shorten course at Shek Kok Tsui (northwest corner of Lamma Island) so that everyone could reach the Lamma Hilton Seafood Restaurant, Sok Kwu Wan, in time for lunch!

The first boat home was Rex Au Yeung’s Daydream. Daydream also won PHS A on handicap. The PHS B division was won by Regan Yeung’s Scallywag. Club entry, Redeye, took the IRC 1 division and Zesst won IRC 2.
